I know what you are thinking. Deep breathing?
Its taken me close to 15 months to come full circle on this and here are my cliff notes on my experience:
October 2019: I attended a women’s business development conference and went 100% alone. This for me is a feat in itself but that’s another story! I was going to try as many things that pushed my comfort zone. The day before the conference started I had the opportunity to try breathwork.
All I was thinking as I showed up for this was what the hell am I doing here? Long story short I was guided through A 30-minute breathwork session. I thought I was doing it wrong the whole time (like really, can you breathe wrong? 🤷🏼♀️)
For two days later I felt as high as a kite. I felt clear. I wasn’t anxious. And I was at this Women’s conference 100% by myself.
Since then I have been using this app called Breathwrk. Gwenth Paltrow is even on board.
-They have a breathing set to make you sleepy. Guess what? I sleep better.
-They have a breathing set to get my ass out of bed! Yep. It’s called awake in case you are snuggling the blankets waaaay too much lately.
-And my favorite is the calm breathing set. Feeling anxious? That’s my go-to.
