One of the benefits of so much extra time this past year was getting back to my love of reading. Yes, I was able to read with a toddler around. Actually, so long as I had a book in my hand she would leave me alone!
So little known fact: you know if you have a library card you can listen to audiobooks for free? Score! Every library is different but usually, it’s just a matter of going to your library home page and look for the digital library section. My favorite app is hoopla but each library has partnerships with different apps.
I usually start out either reading a book or listening to the audio book. If I really like it I do both. I find I remember it more. Yes I’m that nerdy!
Just this last month I stumbled upon Scribd. The selection is more limited but for $99 you get unlimited books and audiobooks for a year.
